The Sci Fly XR returns in its second iteration packed with even more performance. Featuring an all-new Triple Channeled Hull, the Sci Fly XR V2 is stiffer and loaded with even more explosive drive and pop for aerial maneuvers and on-water tracking. The XR Construction produces the perfect blend of weight and strength, providing you the highest performance true surfboard feel to handle all the rigors of kiteboarding. The truncated nose design significantly reduces swing weight and provides a central control point on the board, making airs, spins and skate-style tricks easier than any other board. The parallel rail outline reduces drag and increases water speed to get more drive and pop without jeopardizing stability or landing comfort. Original designs of the 2023 surfboard line were created by Al Emery in close collaboration with World-renowned wave rider, Ben Wilson.

Slingshot SCI-FLY XR V2 - At a Glance
Wow is the first word that comes to mind because this board absolutely rips in the surf. The SCI-FLY blasts airs off small sections with ease, and the landings are buttery smooth. Riding small waves connecting small turns together is fun and what this board shines at. While charging upwind the board rides smooth through the chop thanks to the construction which provides a nice dampening characteristic. The board boasts a blunt nose common for freestyle kitesurf boards, which provides surface area for the wind to push the board against the rider's feet. The only downside to the blunt nose is I can't get too aggressive in my turns because the nose gets hung up and buries itself into the wave. If I want to go out and blast airs and have fun in small 1-2ft swell this is the board, I want to rip around on.
