Like most kiters these days I like a short leash better than the older long leashes. If you want to unhook, though check out the Mystic Freestyle Kite Leash. The Mystic Short Kite Leash is a great aftermarket kite leash that is compact, safe and easy to reset. The short leash stays out of the way and attaches to the front of your harness. This leash is available in several cool colors if that is what you are looking for. The release handle is smaller than the Slingshot Short Leash but still easy to find when needed.
